Was established by the North Carolina Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends on March 13, 1793. It was the first Monthly Meeting in this area.

Meetings were held as early as 1783. Deep Creek helped establish Hunting Creek, Forbush, Harmony Grove, East Bend, Union Cross, Pilot View, Southview, Winthrop Meetings and many others.
