About
Born in Oklahoma City, I was raised in Pawhuska from 1946 until I enlisted in the United States Navy at age 17. I finished high school in Bartlesville after my navy service at age 23 and attended the University of Tulsa studying words. I graduated at age 56 from Tulsa Community College with two degrees in Spanish (college and translator). I was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company and subsidiaries from 1967 to 200 for 33 1/2 years. I study languages and I speak Spanish, French, German and Russian. I have photographed Pawhuska for a number of years producing an extensive collection of photographs and I am knowledgeable about Pawhuska due to being raised there and my family connections of citizens of Pawhuska. |
