I Saw The Marker

This marker is in the cemetery where Col. Gordon's family is buried. He is actually buried in a nearby cemetery that is less accessible to the public. I was a member of the committee that made the decision where this marker was placed and helped raise the money for it. The marker was placed here so that it could be seen by all who visit this historic church and graveyard. There is a webpage about this graveyard, Brick Church, at http://www.lairdlandfarmhouse.com/?page_id=734 that shows the marker photo clearly and in its context to the church and graves.
