The Brigade arrived about 3:30 p.m. from the vicinity of Lee and Gordon's Mills. The 125th Ohio and 64th Ohio formed here, and moving towards the crest east of the road became engaged with troops of Hood's Division. The 65th Ohio and 3rd Kentucky formed line nearly perpendicular to the road, and after hard fighting advanced northward to attack Confederate troops crossing the road a few hundred yards beyond. Arriving in rear of Johnson's Brigade of Bushrod R. Johnson's Division, which had passed to the west of the road and wheeled north to attack the flank of Van Cleve's Division in the Brotherton field. Harker's Brigade attacked Johnson's line and forced it to withdraw into the forest east of the road. The Brigade then joined Buell's Brigade at Viniard's and bivouacked there until 2 a.m., when it retired to a position on the range north of Widow Glenn's.
