Erected in 1874-1875Helen Bradshaw Fay(1881-1957)Class of 1904(Certificate of Graduation from Normal Department)Born in Washington, D.C., Fay lived her whole life on Kendall Green. In 1907, she taught at Kendall School for 39 years. From 1929 until her retirement in 1946, she served as supervising teacher at Kendall School and as an instructor in Gallaudet's Normal Department where she trained teachers of deaf children.Gift of Gallaudet University Alumni AssociationLaurent Clerc Cultural Fund2001
