Charter Oak Tree

The White Oak Tree in front of this monument was presented to the Town of Middlefield by the State of Connecticut in appreciation of John Lyman for his participation in he State Constitutional Convention of 1965. The Tre is a direct descendant of the legendary Charter Oak Tree of Connecticut History.
