This regiment occupied the right of the Confederateline of battle April 6, 1862, and was engaged along theTennessee River until 4 p.m. when it came upon the highground, and was in position here at 5.30 p.m., when Unionprisoners were captured.It then moved by the right flank, due east, to theMounds.
