Inscription
In 1925 a finely sculptured garden seat of Kilkenny limestone was placed in the park and inscribed on the back - "Anna Marie, 1829 - 1922 and Thomas Haslam, 1825 - 1917. This seat is erected in commemoration [sic - ?honour'] of their long years of public service, chiefly devoted to the enfranchisement of women." [From Monuments of St. Stephen's Green marker found in the park]
