Historical SiteThe Central Overland Pony Express passed this site many times. Green Valley Road was the gateway to the gold region, and was the center of activities in the 1850's & 60's, where many early California Inns were located. In the late 1800's a stagecoach, driven by 13 year old Fred Dixon, a member of the Dixon family who were former owners of the property, also passed this way.
