The Fairfax Herald was established in 1882 by Capt. S.R. Donohoe, who, in 1904 moved it to this small, one-story frame structure. The Herald remained in operation until 1966.

  1. I have a cutting board 7 *13 3/16. Extremely old!
    It has a Cook Wanted ad from WM, Ritchin published Oct 22 1886. pasted on the front of the board. It looks very old. Bought at a yard sale. It is printed from the Old Fairfax Print Shop.
