Best season in Milwaukee occurred in 1983 when he hit .308 with 13 home runs and 108 RBI. In the Pennant-winning season of 1982, "Simba" hit 23 home runs with 97 RBI and led all A.L. catchers with a .995 fielding percentage. Caught 122 shutouts in his career. Earned six All-Star selections prior to his tenure in Milwaukee.
