The Heritage Oak that stood on this site for more than 400 years was witness to the 4 historical periods of Simi Valley. From the Chumash Indians, to the largest land grant ever made to the Pico family in the Spanish period, through the pioneer period when easterners looked for farm land, to the modern period of local industrial development.
