· Called Buffalo Bill after killing 4,280 buffalo in 8 mos. 1867
· Won duel with Sioux Chief Yellow Hair in 1876
· Organized "Wild West Show" on ranch near North Platte, Nebr. in 1883 and toured the world with partner Bailey, of Barnum & Bailey, enlarged the "Wild West Show" in 1893
· Died Jan. 10, 1917 buried atop Lookout Mtn. near Denver, Colo.
