1st Georgia (Confederate) 2nd Battalion, - Major James C. Gordon.
5th Georgia - Colonel Charles P. Daniel.
2nd Georgia Battalion, Sharpshooters - Major Richard H. Whiteley.
5th Mississippi - Major John B. Herring.
8th Mississippi - Colonel John C. Wilkinson.
Scogin's (Georgia) Battery - Captain John Scogin.

A little before dark Jackson'sBridge was ordered to support Cleburne's Division in an attack. It formed on this ground on the right of Deshler's Brigade of Cleburne's Division, and advanced into action, pressing the Union line back some 600 yards where the firing ceased, and the Bridge returned to its former position and bivouacked for the night. Taken into action September 19, 1285 officers and men.
