The Fairmount Heights No. 92 F.A.A.M Maryland Jurisdiction received their charter in 1928 with Andrew Knox, W.M. George Henderson, Jr. W. Edward Patterson, Sr. W. James A. Campbell, Secretary and George W. Patterson, Treasurer. The Lodge building built circa 1940 once closely resembled the Old Treasury Building on the State House grounds in Annapolis, Maryland. Lodge No. 92 was the first Masonic Chapter in Prince Georges' County. Their first Meetings were held at the original Town Hall which was located at 717 60th Place.

Columbine Chapter No. 46
Order of the Eastern Star

Early in 1928, Sister Anna L. Knox, formerly of Colorado, thought it was proper to establish a chapter for the Order of the Eastern Star in Fairmount Heights, Maryland. The purpose was to have a sister chapter to Fairmount Heights, Maryland and to engage in the unified services to God and Man. On August 4, 1928, Columbine Chapter was organized with a membership of seventeen.
