The Battery with its Brigade moved from Pond Spring early in the morning, forming temporary line of battle near Crawfish Spring, and, subsequently, near Lee and Gordon's Mill, without becoming seriously engaged.

It reached this position about 4 p.m., the Battery coming into position on this ground, and remained till the morning of the 20th without serious engagement or loss.
