United States Botanic Garden

Bartholdi Park features selections of American native plants suitable for the urban landscape and your own home garden. Growing plants adapted to local environmental conditions reduces water and fertilizer use, and helps reduce the need to treat plants for pests and diseases. Native plants provide food and habitat for butterflies, bees, birds, and other animals. Find native plants interspersed throughout the park and featured heavily in the magnolia bog and other rain gardens.
