Constructed On-site: ca. 1949Built adjacent to the Variety Unit to reflect the "continuous architecture" building style common throughout New England, the Toy Shop displays an array of children's playthings: transportation toys, mechanical banks, an operating model train, dolls and doll accessories, and wooden toys typical of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
