The Pablo Beach FEC Foreman's House was built in 1900 by the Florida East Coast Railway after it was bought by Henry Flagler. The house was built for the use of the local section foreman and his family, and represents a standard design used by the company. A foreman would oversee the whole Florida East Coast Railway line, while a section foreman was responsible for overseeing approximately 17 miles of the railway. After the line was closed in 1932, the house was auctioned off and used as a private residence until the move to its current location in the Pablo Historical Park in 1979. This building and the Mayport Depot are painted in a unique shade known as Flagler Yellow, which was a standard color used by the FEC at the time.
