English translation:
The Temple of San Juan Bautista, now called San Francisco. Since its construction during the middle of the 18th century until September 9, 1828, this temple belonged to the secular clergy and was called San Juan Bautista (St. John the Baptist). In that year it passed over to the Franciscan Order with its current name.City Council of 1989-91
