Savings Bank of Mendocino County

—Established 1903 —

Erik Albertson, first Worshipful Master of Mendocino Lodge No. 179, Free and Accepted Masons, undertook construction of this Masonic Hall in 1866.
Albertson carved "Time and the Maiden," the statue which adorns the roof, out of a single virgin redwood trunk. In 1883, The Hall was moved to its present location to allow for widening of the streets.
