Edificada en el periodo de 1531-1534. Sistema constructivo de paredes de tapial y aplanado de tierra talpuja. Área actual 200 m2.Martín Estete acompañó la expedición de Francisco Hernández de Córdoba en 1524. Durante los primeros años de la ciudad fue Guardián de la Fortaleza.
