— Architect: Thomas Franklin Power —The Kress Store, number 152 in the nationwide chain, consisted of ground floor retail. With offices above a three-story addition as built in 1929. An adaptive reuse in 1994 & 1995 for loft condominiums rescued a historic building that had been gutted and abandoned. The Renaissance Revivial ornamental detailing has been authentically restored.
