Built in 1886, the hall was a lounge for princes, patriarchs and cabinet ministers when in the Summer Palace to celebrate Empress Dowager Cixi's birthdays. The cultural relics on display here are birthday presents from the princes, patriarchs and cabinet ministers to Cixi.
