  1. We lived in Greencastle, PA 1964 - 1969 and I remember a historical marker on a pole on the left side of the road exiting Greencastle. It had the name of my Great Grandfather Capt. John H. Thomas on it. They bivouaced there before moving on to Gettysburg.
