This monument was restored in 2011 and a dedication was held on May 30, 2011. Owned by the Ross Twp. trustees, the Mooretown Restoration Committee oversees the care and upkeep. We are dedicating an Ohio Historical Marker on may 25, 2015 for this monument. There will be a catered lunch, guest speakers, honor guard, etc. Please check out our web site for photos and info on this monument. Also please check out the Ohio Historical Marker that we installed in Knoxville, Ohio for William Pittenger. The dedication for the Pittenger marker was on August 2, 2014.
