July 2 In position here actively engaged and exposed all the while to a heavy fire from the Union artillery.

July 3 Remained here and took part in all the artillery conflicts of the day including that which preceded Longstreet's assault.

July 4 Withdrew about sunset and began the march to Hagerstown.

Losses Wounded 9, missing 2.

Ammunition expended 406 rounds.

Horses killed or disabled 20.
