Inscription
The original cemetery associated with St.Nicholas Lutheran Church is 1/3 mile S off SC Hwy 641. The church, originally locatednearby, was founded about 1804 in what wasthen Barnwell District, and the cemeteryincludes family plots of the Platts, Harter,and other area families. The present St. Nicholas Lutheran Church, 2 mi. S, wasbuilt in 1910.
