Loring Lovell exemplified a dedication to the preservation of Florida's water resources, environment, and rich cultural heritage. In recognition of his wisdom, foresight and efforts to provide potable water for Sarasota County residents, the Loring Lovell Interpretive Trail, dedicated to his memory, is an expression of appreciation for his service.
