General Stores have been in wide use since the late 1860's. Some of the first General Stores were created in Paris, France as a means of attracting more business. The settling of the Wild West was a contributor to the growing number of General Stores in the United States. With the new settlers being few in number but still with the same widespread and basic requirements, the need for one store that could fill all the necessities grew.
Our General Store offers a taste of the old, with a taste of the new. However, its main purpose is to promote the unique products made by students and community members.
All proceeds will be donated to promote future Learn and Serve projects.
