This monument
Erected in memory of the 93 families who founded the parish of Saint Joseph du Moine. Was blessed by Reverend Charles Omer Cormier, and unveiled by Mr. and Mrs. Pat J. AuCoin on July 28, 1979 during the centennial celebration of the parish's foundation.
The 150 year old millstone is the last remnant of a flour mill built by Charles Gallant circa 1825 on a lot of land now owned by Wilfred J.P. Aucoin.

Érigé à la mémoire des 93 familles qui ont fondé Saint-Joseph du Moine. A été béni par Père Charles Omer Cormier, Curé, et dévoilé par Monsieur et Madame Pat J. AuCoin le 28 juillet 1979 à l'occasion du centenaire de la paroisse.
La vieille meule de 150 ans est le dernier vestige d'un moulin à farine bâti par Charles Gallant vers 1825 sur un terrain qui appartient maintenant à Wilfred J.P. Aucoin.
