1101 Main Street: The cafe and rooming house of Oliver Schwartzenburg was replaced in the 1930's by the Pineville Coffee Company, Robert Durham, owner. In the late 50's Charles Puckett opened a Mobile service station on the site which became Nugent's Service Station in the 70's and today is Bordelon's Cenla Service Station. Other businesses on the block were J.B. Kelly, Dentist, V.P. Johnson Grocery, Al Smith Radio Repair, John Girlinghouse Real Estate and a print shop.
