Tackle

One of the quickest linemen ever to play at LSU, he anchored a defense that allowed the fewest yards in the nation. His junior year he tackled quarterbacks Pat Sullivan of Auburn and Archie Manning of Ole Miss for safeties. In 1971, he was named All-American and All-SEC. He played in nine Grey Cup championships en route to induction in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
