This regiment was ordered to remain at
Perkins' Landing, Louisiana, when its Corps
crosses the river to Bruinsburg,
Mississippi. It rejoined its brigade at
Vicksburg about May 24, and served in the
trenches until the end of the siege, July 4,
without reported casualties.
