Dedicated to
"The Forgotten Army"-
the Montagnard soldiers of Vietnam

The Dega people (termed Montagnards or "Mountaineers" by the French) of Vietnams' central highlands, was one of our most loyal and endearing allies. They fought and died by the thousands alongside U.S. Army Special Forces from 1960 until 1975. Recognized as fierce, courageous fighters, the Montagnards fought bravely along side American forces during some of the most hazardous operations.

Montagnards continued fighting for 11 years until 1992, 7 years after U.S. withdrawal.
