Birthplace of the internationally acclaimed poet. He attended Reading's High School for Boys, Harvard College and New York University Law School and combined successful careers as an insurance company executive and award winning poet. In 1955 the collected poems of Wallace Stevens won both the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry an the National Book Award.
