From New York, Michael joined
Delancey's Loyalist Regiment in
1776. After two years of campaigning
in the north he participated in the
capture of Savannah, the Sieges of
Savannah and Ninety Six, and Battles
of Eutaw Springs and Musgrove's
Mill. At war's end he settled in
Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
and died at the age of 97.
